Our client is at a very exciting and important time in the development of their firm.
The founders spent many years working for a reputed AJ100 practice, and having learnt their craft with this notable prize winning firm, and at the end of 2018 they embarked on setting up their own design practice. The first few years have gone well and they have been overwhelmed with the response from the market and are encouraged to keep on moving forwards!
Projects are typically residential led mixed use developments around the GLC where they look to balance innovation, suitability and context. Projects have been more front end focused (stage 0-3) but there are more of their schemes now moving through planning and so they are a practice who design and deliver.
Their next hire will be a Part III with excellent technical knowledge and a strength at RIBA Stage 4 onwards. Proficiency using Microstation and Sketchup or Rhino are essential, and revit would be advantageous for their future studio development strategy.
You will have direct access to the Directors and their business conversations and so this will be a great way to expand as an architect.
This will suit someone with the right attitude who understands they are at the beginning of their journey but will grow and so whoever comes in now will be in a very good position in a few years time.
