Location - London
Salary - £26,000 to £29,000
Job reference - P20221
Since March 2020, we have seen a trend emerge whereby it is the smaller practices at the beginning of their company development who have maintained more stability and been in a position to progress with their expansion plans throughout a global pandemic. In addition to this, is the exposure to all areas of a business you benefit from joining a smaller practice.
Our client is at a very exciting and important time in the development of their firm.
The founders spent many years working for a reputed AJ100 practice. Having learnt their craft with this notable prize winning firm in 2018 they embarked on setting up their own design practice. The first year went well, and so did the second despite the current climate! They have been overwhelmed with the response from the market and are encouraged to keep on moving forwards!
They are looking for a competent, confident, experienced part II architectural assistant to join their small team.
Key credentials you must possess to be considered:
- Have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating flair in 3D visualisation, presentational clarity and rigour and intelligibility in your drawn and written work
- Experience of technical work beyond RIBA Stage 3 is preferred but not essential
- Have experience working in a UK architectural studio noted for the quality of their design work
- Have a working understanding of the UK planning system and project experience between RIBA Stages 1 and 3
You will have direct access to the Directors and their business conversations and so this will be a great way to develop as an architect.
This will suit someone with the right attitude who understands our client is early on on their journey and so whoever comes in now will benefit from the growth of the firm and be in a very good position in a few years time.
