About the Role
Senior Interior Designer - FF&E/All rounder
£55,000 - £60,000

We're partnering with a prominent company in the luxury hospitality industry as they seek to bring on board a skilled Senior Designer. They're looking for someone with strong design and technical skills, as well as a solid background in FF&E, to lead projects through all stages of design.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the creative direction by developing ideas and concepts and bringing them to fruition within the project. Showcase conceptual thinking and curiosity, generating a plethora of design ideas. Demonstrate excellent design skills, encompassing research, conception, modeling, technical drawing, and meticulous attention to detail necessary for world-class projects.
Be highly organised, capable of working independently or in a small team, and comfortable shouldering responsibility with a proactive mindset. Manage, source, select, and oversee the production of interior design and FF&E across various project types like hotels, restaurants, and residential spaces.
Be prepared to travel internationally for presentations or site assistance as needed. Collaborate with the team to develop initial design concepts and palettes. Prepare schemes, sample boards, detailed specifications, and spec books, including all fixed finishes, furniture, fabrics, and accessories.
Design bespoke furniture and create detailed drawings when required. Develop budgets for assigned projects and assist in value engineering and procurement activities. Manage project control samples and review shop drawings, ensuring accuracy in all manufactured items.
Maintain communication with clients, consultants, and vendors on all FF&E matters and attend site meetings. Conduct research on new fabrics and suppliers, ensuring the accuracy and coordination of all FF&E documentation throughout detail design packages and layouts.
Provide oversight and support to other members of the FF&E team.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Spec Sources, Spec Designer, and InDesign
