Experienced Interior Architect/Interior Designer - in-house at a private developer
£35,000 - £42,000
North London

We are partnering with a boutique residential developer based in North London, specialising in high-end private residential projects. Their in-house team manages a diverse portfolio, with a strong focus on prime residential properties. The company recently acquired 12.5 acres of land just outside London and is set to embark on its largest development to date: an 80-home project. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to work on a variety of other exciting projects within the office, often involving private residences of around 8,000 square feet.

They are seeking a proactive, motivated, and highly organised Interior Architect or Interior Designer who can lead projects from concept through to completion, transforming spaces with creativity and precision. The ideal candidate will have extensive project experience, including solid construction knowledge. You should be able to take full responsibility for your work, meet deadlines, collaborate seamlessly within a team, and manage projects under the direction of the Creative Director.

Key skills:
 

  • production of drawing packages including plans, elevations and sections
  • creation of bathroom, kitchen and wardrobe packages including all specifications and finishes
  • creation of lighting and electrical packages
  • confident in producing construction detailing packages
  • creation feature ceilings and feature wall designs
  • liaising with our in-house architects, contractors and design teams on all relevant issues

Personal skills:

  • reporting to the head of design and director
  • passionate about design
  • proven work experience with architectural and/or interior design firms
  • attention to detail
  • strong organisational skills
  • excellent presentation skills
  • ability to work within a busy environment
  • fluent in both written and spoken English
  • AutoCAD, Adobe PhotoShop, SketchUp, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel
