About the Role

Interior Designer - Procurement specialist
Full time or Part time
£DOE

We are working with a high-end interior design studio based just outside London, within the commuter belt, that is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team. The studio specialises in private client residential projects and requires someone who can lead the procurement function while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Currently, the team is using Excel for tracking and ordering, but they are exploring dedicated procurement software, such as Esti to streamline their processes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team in selecting and implementing the most suitable system.
As Procurement Specialist, you will work closely with the design team to source bespoke FF&E items for luxury residential interiors, occasionally sourcing off-the-shelf pieces as needed. You’ll ensure all selections align with the design intent by reviewing technical shop drawings and specifications. You will manage the full procurement cycle, from placing orders for furniture, lighting, fabrics, and custom items, through to coordinating logistics, deliveries, and managing all import/export documentation.

Key Skills & Requirements:
  • Proven experience in FF&E procurement, ideally within high-end interior design
  • Strong supplier management, negotiation, and logistics coordination skills
  • Knowledge of international shipping, export processes, and documentation
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident in building positive relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the high-end private residential sector, who’s ready to take the next step in their career and become a key part of a supportive, long-established team. The broad salary range reflects the studio’s commitment to securing the right individual for the role. In terms of location, the office is on the London Tube map and is easily accessible for those commuting from West Hampstead or northwest London. It’s also a convenient option for candidates based in Buckinghamshire who prefer to travel by car.
