About the Role
Senior Interior Designer - with clear progression high-end residential projects
£48,000 - £60,000
Buckinghamshire - commuter belt
A friendly, design-focused architecture and interior design practice, established for decades and well-regarded for their high-end residential work, is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their close-knit and collaborative team.
This studio typically runs up to 30 projects at any given time, varying in scale and style. As such, the role offers plenty of variety and the chance to be involved in beautifully crafted, design-led homes. They’re seeking a designer with strong creative flair, who is confident working with private clients, running projects independently, and attending site meetings with contractors and consultants.
You’ll be working closely with a highly experienced and approachable Director, taking on some of her responsibilities over time. There is a clear succession plan in place, so this is a genuine opportunity for someone looking to grow into a more senior leadership role within the practice.
While the company is office-based to encourage collaboration, creativity, and camaraderie, they also strongly value work-life balance. Normal working hours are observed, and flexibility can be offered to accommodate childcare drop-offs or pick-ups where needed.
AutoCAD proficiency is important, as you’ll need to be able to jump into drawing packages when required. However, you’ll also have the support of a team handling technical drawing and 3D work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in the high-end private residential sector, who’s ready to take the next step in their career and become a key part of a supportive, long-established team. The broad salary range reflects the studio’s commitment to securing the right individual for the role. In terms of location, the office is on the London Tube map and is easily accessible for those commuting from West Hampstead or northwest London. It’s also a convenient option for candidates based in Buckinghamshire who prefer to travel by car.
