Sketch is collaborating with a renowned design studio located in SW London, specialising in high-end residential projects both in the UK and internationally. With a distinctive taste and personalised style tailored to each client, this studio offers a diverse range of projects, ensuring variety and creativity from one endeavor to the next.
Currently, they are seeking an exceptionally talented designer with a strong aesthetic sensibility, outstanding technical skills and a proven ability to manage all aspects of high-end interior design from concept to completion. You will also have a strength in FF&E with good experience in interior architecture and have the ability to communicate the designs of the spaces in 3D with ease. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is detail-oriented, possesses the design skills to conceptualise their ideas and the leadership skills to guide a talented team.
As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in developing compelling design concepts, mood boards, and presentations tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences. You’ll oversee the end-to-end delivery of both large- and small-scale interior design projects, ensuring they align with the studio’s standards of quality and sophistication. Representing the brand professionally outside the studio, you’ll build and maintain strong client relationships, presenting design concepts with confidence and passion. Leading and mentoring junior designers, you will foster creativity, collaboration, and high performance across the team. Your responsibilities will also include producing and overseeing detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules, as well as sourcing high-quality materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes while maintaining strong supplier relationships. You’ll be accountable for managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring quality through on-site visits and inspections that uphold the integrity and execution of each design.

Extensive experience in residential design
- Skilled in space planning and concept development, with experience managing projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards.
- Strong multitasking abilities, confidently navigating both design and project management responsibilities across on- and off-site work.
- Proven experience in producing comprehensive design packages, including construction drawings, specifications, schedules, costings, and value engineering.
- Exceptional attention to detail across all phases of design, documentation, and execution.
- Proficient in creating sketches, 3D renders, and visuals using SketchUp and ideally Rhino.
- Advanced user of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and external vendors.
- Confident in coordinating with architects, consultants, specialists, and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of construction methods and technical detailing.
